“Behind our eyes there is a world of true and false that converge without limits.” This world is intimate and full of memories, ideas, emotions and feelings that are debated between the true and the false, the truth and the uncertain.
When we look at an image we deposit our cultural definitions and experiences on this image. In this sway between objects and perceptions we define the real.
Reality in a certain sense is what appears and at the same time hidden, it is a being and not being, a coming and going, that the works show us in the form of “Appearances”.

“Detrás de nuestros ojos existe un mundo de verdaderos y falsos que convergen sin límites. Este mundo es íntimo y está lleno de memorias, ideas, emociones y sensaciones que se debaten entre lo verdadero y falso, lo cierto y lo incierto.
Cuando observamos una imagen depositamos nuestras definiciones culturales y experiencias sobre esta imagen. En este vaivén entre objetos y percepciones definimos lo real.
La realidad en cierto sentido es aquello que aparece y a la vez oculta, es un estar y no estar, un ir y venir, que las obras nos muestran con forma de «Apariencias».”
